Welcome to the home of the Wiltshire Geology Group. Here you can learn more of our aims and objectives, the geology of our beautiful county, and projects, past, present and future. Throughout the year we have a busy schedule of events, including talks and field visits, and new members are always welcome. Wiltshire's landscape is inextricably bound up with the rocks beneath the surface. It is our aim to raise public awareness of Earth Sciences and draw peoples attention to the way the landscape, and the towns and villages within it, are influenced by the underlying geology.
